Isn't this why the baddies in Science-Fiction are baddies?
Pain sticks?
What is "stunning" here is that cheap nasty torture devices would ever be issued to police officers in a civilised society.
Of all the technologies developed in the name of mind control, the electric shock is the stupidest, most brutal, trauma conditioning blunt instrument. It's what they give you in the adverts on the disney brainwashing film they show the children on L.S.D.. I know from my own research of better technologies for passifying people.

People are traumatised, if not dying or developing instant heart conditions, during the often abbusive and petty over-use of this now notorious device. Please watch these videos, and support some kind of review of tasers.
